100th Day Crown
Unit of Inquiry:The students were introduced were introduced to the 4 phases of the moon (new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter). First, we brainstormed what we think a sun, moon, Earth and stars looks like. Then, We learned a new song to help us learn about the moon. It is a very catchy song that allows the students to further understand how the moon works. To listen to the song at home please click this link---> Moon Song Video Lastly, We went over the 4 main phases of the moon that we will be learning about this week.
Lunch/ Recess 2
Math: The students reviewed telling time to the hour and half hour. We did many examples on the board and with a clock that we have in our classroom. At their desks, the students had to write the digital time and also draw the hands of the clock when given a time.
